Ste Henshall is the founder and head coach of Henshall Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Manchester, and one of the region’s most accomplished martial artists. He holds a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt under Andy Aspinall, the father of UFC Champion Tom Aspinall. With over 15 years of experience in combat sports, Ste brings a wealth of knowledge to his academy, earning a reputation for excellence both on the mats and as a coach.

As a competitor, Ste has built a solid foundation in both Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and MMA, competing at the highest levels within the UK grappling and MMA circuits. His extensive experience in these disciplines allows him to offer his students a broad range of techniques and insights to help them succeed, whether they’re pursuing competition or training for self-defence.

As a coach, Ste is known for his enthusiastic, approachable teaching style and his genuine passion for helping students grow. He founded Henshall BJJ with the vision of creating a fun, family-like atmosphere where anyone from complete beginners to world-class competitors, can thrive and pursue their personal goals through Jiu Jitsu.
